Of Universe & Life Here

The concept of Universe fascinates me a lot. To the extent that I believe I would be able to see some break through which will confirm a 70 year old thought by Einstein, “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. I have a firm belief, even after a chance of unique combination involving 3.2 billion base pairs, all the space around us in this universe can not be a waste. There ought to be beauty out there too, we just yet don’t have the capability to look at it. We are either in the backyard of the universe or we haven’t evolved to a stage where the other lives can contact us or be contacted.
You can see it around, all that existed in our mythological books; e.g. Vimanas in Hindu mythology which could fly in sky (other cultures also suggest similar thoughts). They imagined it way beyond our time- thousands of years back. Now that is a reality. Same for piece of literature from past 300-400 years, books old “Philosophers” wrote, concepts which they suggested turned out to be true in today’s times. Flying was simply a dream around 80 years back, now it is a reality. In similar way look at today’s literature which indicates that concepts like time travel, teleportation, parallel universes ought to come to reality in coming future. This has happened in the past and this would happen in the future. It all starts with an imagination- explore the idea of some other spices giving this idea to us, planting a seed in our human minds just at right time, before we are able to come to a stage where we can handle this imagination as a possibility and achieve the outcome, convert that imagination to reality.
Look at the idea of Panspermia which suggests that life did not evolve on earth, instead it was planted on earth by possibly natural process of distribution. If this is the case, there is for sure the possibility that extra terrestrials exist and while some may not be as developed as we are, we too could be not as developed as superior civilizations are. They would have technology which we yet have not discovered. Instead of Newtonian frame of reference their advancements are entirely different than ours and thus more wonderful! There are endless possibilities in space which is beyond us. We have reached only till Mars- which is miniscule if we look at the distance we can have in the universe. It is simply unimaginable. The idea that we can not travel through it suggests, this is all a waste. How could nature (or God!) could be so unjustified in It’s creation. This is where I think Philosophy supersedes Science. They both probably emerge into one to give a world where imagination is the reality! There are parallel universes, time travel is possible, there is a world out there which is way beyond our current imagination with no current world dynamics we live today in. I simply hope that my life time will give me an opportunity which will enforce my belief that this imagination is going to be truth.
